Black Lives Matter

George Floyd's death sparked outrage across the country, leading to national wide unrest. In Columbia, a group of people from all walks of life came together to lead the charge in protest of Floyd's death and for other people who fell victim to police brutality. As the summer progressed the protestors goals changed to combatting racial injustice and invoking change at the city level while battling systematic racism. Their passion never subsided.
